  • What is Vet mHealth?
    Vet mHealth is a secure cloud-based platform for healthcare providers, caregivers, and yourself: Healthcare Providers Providers inside and outside can use the HIPAA-compliant Vet mHealth Dashboard to remotely monitor patients remotely between clinic and telehealth visits. Caregivers Vet mHealth lets caregivers quickly gather and organize their loved one’s health information and medical, insurance, and legal documents so the information is readily available when needed. Yourself The Vet mHealth app allows you to input your health measurements to keep a daily log of your health and track your progress. You can speak or use the keyboard to enter information in the app on iOS and Android mobile devices. You can also store your medical, legal, and insurance documents in one place so that you can access them anytime and anywhere with an Internet connection.
  • What health information can I put in the Vet mHealth app?
    You can use the app to record eight health measurements (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, blood glucose, respiration, weight, pain, and %SpO2) and health observations such as falls, symptoms, vaccines, ER/clinic visits, and photos. You can also store your medical, legal, and insurance documents in one place.
  • Can I connect the Vet mHeath app to my at-home medical devices?
    Yes. You can connect the Vet mHealth app to your account for consumer medical devices from Fitbit, iHealth, Omron, and Withings. Open the Menu at the top left and tap Medical Devices. Tap the button for the Device Manufacturer and login to your account. Most device manufacturers allow you to select the information you want to share with the Vet mHealth app before you approve the connection. It may take several minutes for your health information to appear in the app after the first connection and after each measurement.
  • Can my home health company use Vet mHealth?
    Yes! The setup process is quick and easy for home health and hospice agencies, specialists, therapists, and others to get started entering health data so that your family stays informed about your condition. Home health organizations can contact us at info@vetmhealth.com for more information.
  • How are caregivers invited to enter information in the Vet mHealth app?
    Inviting your caregiver to use the app is easy. You can follow the instructions or watch a video. Follow these steps to invite a caregiver: Tap the Menu (upper right corner). Tap Caregivers. Tap Add (“+”). Enter the email address of your caregiver. If the caregiver is not an emergency contact, select “No” from the drop-down menu. A non-emergency contact caregiver can enter your health information but cannot access your medical, legal, and insurance documents. Tap Save. We will send an email to your caregiver with instructions to download and open the app to accept your invitation.
  • Can I remove or change caregivers in the app?
    Yes. Go to the Menu and tap Caregivers. Tap Delete by the caregiver’s name. You can now invite a different caregiver.
  • Can my caregiver change information that I enter?
    No. Information you enter in the Vet mHealth app cannot be changed or deleted by anyone else.
  • Can my caregiver enter and access all my health information?
    You can designate your caregiver as an “emergency contact” or “non-emergency contact”. An emergency contact caregiver can enter your health information and access your medical, legal, and insurance documents. A non-emergency contact caregiver can enter your health information but cannot access your documents.
  • Will doctors who monitor me through the Vet mHealth platform know how to contact my caregiver?
    Yes. The name and contact information of your caregiver will be visible in the Vet mHealth Dashboard that your doctors use to monitor you.
  • Is my data stored on my mobile device or in the cloud?
    Your health data and documents are encrypted and maintained in the Vet mHealth cloud-based platform so that you can access your updated information on iOS and Android mobile devices from any place where Internet access is available.
  • Does Vet mHealth sell my data?
    Absolutely not. We do not share or sell your data. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information.
  • Do you share my health data with third parties without my permission?
    Absolutely not! We promise to keep your information safe and private. We won't give your information to anyone else unless we're legally required to do so, or you give us permission.
  • Can I delete my data or account in the app?
    Absolutely! You can review, update, and correct data or delete your account information and any associated personal information or profile content. You can delete your account in the Vet mHealth apps. If you choose to delete your Account, all data, including backups, will be deleted and the action will not be reversible.
